The BE-A-CHAMELEON Philosophy

The chameleon is able to change its colour in millions of different ways to millions of different shades. This is analogous to our philosophy – each of us is not simply different, but unique. How we adapt to specific situations is therefore unique too. Our work reflects this.

Every corporation is unique too. The same is true for every culture and - most importantly - for every situation in which individuals meet.

It is incorrect to claim that two people from the same culture are identical - they are not! While their behaviour may exhibit similar patterns, their personalities and culture are nonetheless individual. We regard thinking in terms of stereotypes as counterproductive. A chameleon cannot change its surroundings but rather adapt to them. To do so it needs to be able to recognise the patterns of its environment: taking the clues of a situation to a higher level.

Our philosophy avoids stereotypes and works instead with patterns of behaviour, personality, culture and situational interaction. By helping you recognise these patterns we can help you to adapt accordingly. You avoid stereotyping, hence increase team performance, win business deals and carry successful integration in the case of mergers and acquisitions or expatriations.
